Welcome to the home page of Central Oregon’s premiere choir, the 40-voice Central Oregon Mastersingers directed by Clyde Thompson. Founded in 2005, the group has established a niche in the classical music community of Central Oregon, presenting concerts that span the centuries and many of the styles of choral music. They have explored repertoire from the 12th through the 21st centuries, and have presented masterworks with orchestra by J.S. Bach, Maurice Duruflé, Giovanni Pergolesi, G.F. Handel, and W.A. Mozart, among others. The Mastersingers have expanded the boundaries of choral music through collaborations with other ensembles and musicians, including some of Central Oregon’s finest jazz artists.
